Infusion pumps (IV pumps) infuse medicine as well as nutrients into a patient’s bloodstream intravenously. Irae will reduce the frustration associated with pre-programming IV medicines prior to administration and increase the user-friendliness of IV pump operation. Irae is meant to improve the experience of both the patient and the nurse and reduce the unpleasantness of IV therapy.
